Amaravati, Jan 19 (NationPress) N Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has announced plans to transform the state into a hub for AI-driven creative ventures.

On the first day of his visit to Davos, the Chief Minister held discussions with a prominent industry leader in Zurich.

During their meeting, he highlighted the extensive investment prospects available in Andhra Pradesh within sectors such as the AI Creative Tech Hub, Generative AI, Deep Tech, and the Digital Content Economy.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the government is actively promoting investments in fields including digital media, virtual production, gaming, animation, and film technology, aiming to generate substantial employment opportunities for the youth.

As per a statement from the state government, leaders from Eros Innovation, including Co-Founder and Co-President Ridhima Lulla and Co-President Swaneet Singh, were also present at the meeting. They discussed their projects such as Eros Gen AI, the Eros Universe Super App, an AI-enabled Film City, and virtual production studios. Furthermore, they shared that Eros is working on virtual reality–based tourism initiatives named ‘Discover Andhra Pradesh 360.’

Founder and Chairman of Eros Innovations, Kishore Lulla, commended the Chief Minister, referring to him as the “Davos Man Chandrababu,” applauding his global vision and leadership.

Earlier, in a meeting with the Indian ambassador to Switzerland, Mridul Kumar, the Chief Minister sought assistance in attracting Swiss investments to Andhra Pradesh.

After arriving in Zurich on the first day of his four-day visit for the World Economic Forum sessions, the Chief Minister discussed potential Swiss investments across various sectors with the ambassador. When Mridul Kumar mentioned Switzerland's strengths in pharma, medical equipment, heavy machinery, hardware, electronics, rail components, textiles, and research wings, the Chief Minister highlighted opportunities in Andhra Pradesh for investments in pharma and medical equipment production.

He noted that Andhra Pradesh has introduced 25 new policies aimed at boosting industrial growth, with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and quantum technologies.

Additionally, he emphasized the importance of skill development among youth, considering the global demand for a skilled workforce.
