Amaravati, Jan 21 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with former chief minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, expressed profound sorrow over the demise of an Indian Army soldier hailing from the state during a confrontation between armed terrorists and security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir.
Naidu remarked that the news of the passing of Jawan Pangala Karthik from Chittoor district has left us in shock. “I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of the valiant Jawan Karthik who gave his life for our nation. I assure the family that the government will support them unconditionally,” Naidu conveyed in his message on the social media platform X.
Additionally, Nara Lokesh, Minister for Information Technology and Education, also shared his condolences regarding the martyrdom of Army jawan Pangala Karthik, who lost his life in the skirmish in the Sopore region of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Karthik sacrificed his life for our country and his valor is invaluable. We are with Karthik's family. I express my sincere condolences to his loved ones,” Lokesh stated.
Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy likewise conveyed his deepest sympathies to the family of Army jawan Pangala Karthik, who sadly succumbed to grave injuries sustained during a conflict with terrorists in North Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Pangala Karthik, originally from Ragimanupenta village in Bangarupalem mandal, Puthalapattu constituency of Chittoor district, passed away while receiving medical care.
Jagan Mohan Reddy honored Pangala Karthik's ultimate sacrifice for the nation during his duty and prayed for solace for his mourning family and friends in this challenging time. Sepoy Pangala Karthik was injured during the gunfire exchange with terrorists in a hideout at Zaloora Gujjarpati in the Sopore police district and died as he was being rescued from the conflict zone.
