Amaravati, April 23 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, expressed on Wednesday that terrorism and violence have never led to any significant achievements for the causes they claim to represent.
He expressed sorrow over the tragic deaths of JS Chandramouli and Madhusudhan Somisetty, who were victims of the terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on Tuesday.
JS Chandramouli, a retired banker from Visakhapatnam, and Madhusudhan, originally from Nellore district and living in Bengaluru, were among the 26 tourists who lost their lives in the attack.
Naidu is set to receive the remains of Chandramouli at Visakhapatnam Airport on Wednesday night, where he will pay his respects and offer condolences to the grieving family.
"I am mourning the heartbreaking loss of Sri JS Chandramouli Garu and Sri Madhusudhan Garu, members of our Telugu community, who tragically perished in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with their families during this incredibly difficult time, and I hope they find the strength to cope with this tremendous loss," the Chief Minister shared on X.
He emphasized, "Acts of terror tarnish our society. History demonstrates that terrorism and violence have never yielded any meaningful outcomes for the causes they profess to support."
Naidu affirmed that the Andhra Pradesh government is united with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union government in their dedication to protecting the nation's integrity and responding to terrorism with strong and decisive measures. Those accountable for this appalling act must face stringent repercussions, Naidu insisted.
In response, the Andhra Pradesh government has established an emergency desk at AP Bhavan in Delhi to assist victims of the terror incident.

For assistance, individuals can reach the emergency help desk at 9818395787.
Lokesh condemned the terror act, stating, "I am deeply pained by the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam that took the lives of 28 innocent civilians, including Chandramouli Garu and Madhusudan Rao Garu, from Andhra Pradesh. My heartfelt condolences go to the grieving families during this unbearable time.
