Amaravati, Jan 16 (NationPress) YSR Congress Party leader Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed outrage on Friday regarding the assassination of a YSRCP member, reportedly at the hands of TDP affiliates in Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh. He issued a stark warning to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, stating that he will "definitely face consequences" for these violent acts.

Jagan accused Naidu of engaging in violent political tactics.

"Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, the public will not forgive you for participating in violent politics. You will undoubtedly have to pay for such acts. Always remember, what you plant today will be harvested tomorrow," YS Jagan declared on 'X'.

The YSRCP head was responding to the tragic death of Manda Salman in Pinneli village, located in the Gurazala constituency, following an attack by TDP workers and leaders.

Salman sustained severe injuries, fell into a coma, and after three days of life-threatening struggles in the hospital, passed away on Thursday.

"Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, are you truly capable of leading? How many lives will you sacrifice for your political vendetta? Will you continue such lawlessness while holding the Chief Minister's office under the pretense of governance?" questioned the former Chief Minister.

"What justification do you have for the murder of our party member from Pinnelli village, Manda Salman, a Dalit and impoverished individual, who was brutally slain merely for visiting his sick spouse? Is it acceptable to file a false complaint against Salman himself? Is this your purpose for attaining power—to commit such atrocious acts? This incident is evidently part of a sequence of politically motivated violence orchestrated by you, your party officials, and certain police authorities to intimidate and suppress YSRCP," his post read.

The ex-Chief Minister claimed that in clear violation of democratic principles, through threats and misuse of authority, "your affiliates, your MLAs, and your police have warned that anyone opposing your agenda in the village will face death."

He asserted that numerous YSRCP activist families from Pinnelli village have escaped to other regions, living under constant fear for their safety. "This is not an isolated event. Since the Assembly elections concluded, several similar occurrences have been consistently happening throughout Palnadu and the entire state. Despite all this, you have audaciously fostered and promoted violence and bloodshed. Is it not your duty to ensure the safety of citizens and allow them to live freely and without fear?" Jagan challenged.

"Is it not unethical that you have failed in this duty and instead, for your personal vendetta, have dismantled law and order and supported murderous politics? Is this not a violation of the constitution while serving as the Chief Minister?" he added.

Jagan affirmed that YSRCP stands resolutely with Salman’s family, who was "murdered by TDP" and will provide them with necessary support.
