Will YSRCP Respond to ‘Jungle Raj’ Under Chandrababu Naidu?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Amaravati, Feb 4 (NationPress) YSR Congress Party leader Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy issued a strong warning to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, stating that if the situation of ‘jungle raj’ persists in the state, the party's members will retaliate effectively and deliver an appropriate response.
“What we are experiencing is jungle raj in Andhra Pradesh. There is a significant absence of law and order. Chandrababu Naidu is misusing the government and its policies for his own political gain,” the former Chief Minister remarked.
Jagan Mohan Reddy made these statements to the media after offering condolences to the family of YSRCP leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu in Guntur.
He accused Chandrababu Naidu of manipulating facts subsequent to his exposure in the Tirupati laddu adulteration case.
After Central laboratories cleared the allegations, the coalition government is now attempting to shift the narrative by establishing another committee to investigate the matter, he pointed out, referring to the Cabinet's decision made on Tuesday.
He emphasized that the chargesheet from the Supreme Court-monitored CBI SIT did not indicate that animal fat was involved in the laddu. None of the TTD chairmen from that time or YSRCP members were included in the chargesheet.
According to Jagan Mohan Reddy, the reports from NDDB and NDRI submitted with the chargesheet clearly stated that no animal fat was found in the ghee samples taken after Chandrababu Naidu's government assumed power.
With Chandrababu’s blatant deceit being revealed by NDDB and NDRI lab results, instead of acknowledging his wrongdoings, he has resorted to distracting the public with misinformation and placing provocative posters throughout the state to discredit his political opponents, according to the YSRCP chief.
He labeled this a conspiracy orchestrated by Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan to divert attention from the lab reports.
When leaders like Ambati Rambabu, Jogi Ramesh, Vidadala Rajini, Kakani Govardhan Reddy, and Bolla Brahmanaidu challenged this abuse of authority, they faced fabricated charges, and TDP supporters assaulted the homes of Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh with deadly weapons, he said.
The former chief minister asserted that while Ambati Rambabu suffered from TDP violence, false allegations were lodged against him, confirming that jungle raj persists unchecked in the state.
“We will not remain passive. In the forthcoming days, we will pursue all options and tackle this with renewed determination,” he declared.
He warned that all those accountable for the attacks and the offenders will face repercussions shortly.
