Recently, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook announced that the company achieved a record quarterly revenue in India for the October-December period.
“We are gaining traction in emerging markets, including India, where we registered strong double-digit revenue growth,” Cook remarked during the earnings call.
“In retail, we strive to offer a magical experience to our global customers, and we were elated to achieve our best retail results this quarter. We opened our fifth store in India in December and have plans for another in Mumbai soon,” Cook added.
2025 was a remarkable year for Apple in India, with iPhone shipments soaring by 24% year-on-year, according to CyberMedia Research (CMR). Notably, the iPhone 16 series emerged as Apple's most successful smartphone range, accounting for 57% of total iPhone shipments.
