Guwahati, Jan 15 (NationPress) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his enthusiasm on Wednesday regarding the recognition of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL)'s factory in the state by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Sarma took to X to share his thoughts: "Investing in Assam means investing in the future. Our supportive ecosystem not only fosters innovation but also aids in the execution of various Industry First initiatives."

A significant investor summit, Advantage Assam, is scheduled to take place in Guwahati in February. Sarma noted that this summit aims to attract further investments into the state.
He indicated that more government job opportunities and support for entrepreneurship would be made available to the local populace.
According to the Chief Minister, the event slated for February 25 and 26 will also showcase the traditional Jhumur dance of the tea tribes. He stated, "This summit serves as a platform to present Assam's rich heritage to a global audience alongside attracting investors."
A grand Jhumur dance performance featuring over 7,500 dancers and artists is planned as part of the event. The CM described it as an extraordinary spectacle. Preparations for this cultural event are in full swing.
The Chief Minister affirmed, "Meticulous execution will be guaranteed through master training workshops, constituency-level sessions, district-level performances, and final rehearsals in Guwahati."
The concert, anticipated to take place on either day of the summit, is expected to leave a lasting impression on attendees.
This initiative follows Assam's achievement of a Guinness World Record for hosting the largest Bihu dance performance.
