Chandigarh, Jan 17 (NationPress) Punjabi artist B. Praak has reportedly encountered a serious threat from a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who is demanding Rs 10 crore and has issued a death threat should the demand remain unfulfilled, prompting local law enforcement to increase security measures around the singer.
The individual claimed to be Arju Bishnoi and gave a week’s notice to another Punjabi artist, Dilnoor, who is affiliated with B Praak, instructing him to relay the message.
In a recorded audio message, the caller stated, "Relay to B Praak that we require 10 crore. He has one week. He can travel anywhere, but if anyone connected to him is found nearby, we will take severe actions."
The caller ominously added that failure to comply would lead to severe consequences.
Threatening the well-known Punjabi-Bollywood singer, he warned that if the payment was not made, Praak would be "buried in the ground".
Following Dilnoor's report, the police have initiated an investigation.
Officials confirmed they are diligently working to trace the calls' origin and ascertain the caller's identity.

According to Dilnoor's complaint, the caller threatened grave repercussions should the financial demand go unmet.
Dilnoor mentioned that he first received two missed calls from an international number on January 5, which he did not answer.
The next day, he received yet another call from a different international number. Upon answering, he found the dialogue suspicious and promptly ended the call.
