Bengal BJP chief calls for land policy change to attract investment

West Bengal BJP chief Samik Bhattacharya has signalled a potential land policy overhaul under the new state government, directly blaming 15 years of TMC rule for driving investors out of the state.
West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and Rajya Sabha member Samik Bhattacharya on Tuesday called for an urgent overhaul of the state's land policy to attract big-ticket industrial investment, saying the new state government would do everything necessary to create a business-friendly environment. He made these remarks while addressing a gathering of businessmen at the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Kolkata.
