Jaipur, Jan 16 (NationPress) Rajasthan BJP president Madan Rathore has taken aim at Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition, for his recent comments, deeming them careless and questioning their compatibility with national interests.

Rathore accused Gandhi of neglecting his pledge to uphold India's sovereignty, unity, and integrity, implying that his statements and actions betray a commitment to the nation.

Recently, Gandhi stated: "We are fighting BJP, RSS, and the Indian state itself."

Rathore remarked, "Gandhi's statements expose his true allegiances -- to Italy rather than India."

He further claimed that Gandhi's comments against the Indian state either demonstrate poor phrasing or a deliberate reflection of his true feelings.

Rathore challenged the meaning behind the Congress leader's declaration of "fighting with the Indian state", insisting that such language contradicts the essence of nationalism.

He stressed that every citizen should aim to uplift the spirit of nationalism. While political opposition is a fundamental aspect of democracy, making statements that challenge the nation itself is intolerable.

In his criticism of the Congress's contradictions, Rathore noted that leaders from the Rajasthan Congress have shown an interest in adopting RSS-style organizational frameworks.

"If they are truly motivated, I encourage them to visit RSS branches for proper training," Rathore suggested.

He lauded the RSS as a nationalist organization that acts in the best interests of the country, nurturing patriotism among its members.

Rathore called on Congress leaders, including Gandhi, to avoid remarks that could tarnish India’s reputation.

"A genuine leader's actions and words should demonstrate loyalty to the nation, not hostility towards its systems," he stated.

He also urged Congress to take a cue from the legacy of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi's grandmother, regarding national unity.

Rathore concluded by reaffirming that any rhetoric against the Indian state diminishes the essence of national identity and urged the opposition to engage responsibly in their political dialogue.
