Jaipur, March 20 (NationPress) Expressing concerns regarding the opposition's effectiveness, Madan Rathore, the president of the Rajasthan BJP and a Rajya Sabha MP, stated on Friday that the opposition is lacking in clear policies, ideologies, and agendas.

He noted that instead of engaging in constructive debates in Parliament and other platforms, opposition parties are primarily focused on causing disruptions.

“The opposition is lacking genuine issues and is unable to effectively confront the ruling party,” he remarked.

Rathore further mentioned that while the opposition's role in a democracy is to hold the government accountable on public matters, the current opposition has fallen short of this duty. Instead, they are spreading confusion and misleading the public.

He criticized the Congress party for choosing disruption over constructive dialogue in Parliament, deeming such behavior harmful to the democratic spirit.

Emphasizing the strength of the BJP organization, Rathore stated that the party’s well-trained cadre is prepared to tackle any challenges. He highlighted that the party's systematic training programs are an ongoing process, characterized by regular interactions with workers, office-bearers, and new members.

These initiatives aim to familiarize participants with the party's ideology, operational methods, and commitment to national service.

He underscored that these efforts are driven by the core principle: “Nation First, Party Second, Individual Last.” In line with this vision, a nationwide training campaign inspired by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay is currently in progress.

Concerning electoral readiness, Rathore asserted that the BJP is always prepared for elections. Although the timing of election announcements is determined by the Election Commission, the party mobilizes immediately when the Model Code of Conduct is activated.

Addressing concerns related to global conflicts, he stated that while wars can lead to international disruptions, India is not facing any shortages of essential goods. Both Central and state governments are actively ensuring the continuous supply and convenience for the public.

He accused the opposition of attempting to incite unnecessary panic by disseminating misinformation about shortages.

“There is no shortage of essential commodities. Sufficient stocks are available, and strict measures will be enforced against hoarding under the Essential Commodities Act,” he emphasized.

Rathore concluded by urging all stakeholders to act responsibly during these challenging times and collaborate for the greater national good to ensure the welfare of citizens.
