Jaipur, Oct 24 (NationPress) The Rajasthan BJP president, Madan Rathore, stated on Friday that the INDIA bloc lacks a coherent policy or ideological base, claiming that this coalition is motivated solely by a desire for power and is devoid of a vision for the nation.
His remarks come in light of the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, addressing the actions of the INDIA alliance and comments from former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
Rathore emphasized: “The INDIA bloc's primary goal is to seize power at any cost. Issues of development and public welfare are entirely absent from their agenda. This coalition is an opportunistic grouping, united only by convenience rather than conviction. Former adversaries have now come together solely to fulfill their power cravings.
He asserted that the alliance has no clear plan for public welfare, indicating that it lacks any definitive initiatives for development, effective governance, or enhancing the lives of ordinary citizens.
“In contrast, the BJP is dedicated to politics focused on development, transparency, and building public trust. The citizens of India recognize this reality and will not be deceived by such coalitions,” he stated.
Regarding the INDIA bloc’s Chief Ministerial candidate in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, Rathore dismissed it as a mere “political ploy” intended to mislead voters.
“Their CM candidate is merely a trap to gain power through deception. The unpredictability of betrayal within this alliance is evident. It lacks credibility and consistency. Even the seat-sharing agreement was reached without any guiding principles or policies — their only objective is to acquire power devoid of a proper agenda,” he noted.
Rathore also criticized Ashok Gehlot, stating: “Gehlot may excel in political maneuvering, but he has woefully failed in electoral strategy. In every instance where the Congress has relied on him for strategizing, the BJP has reaped the benefits. In Gujarat and Maharashtra, Congress faced losses under his direction, and now with him sent to Bihar, the outcome will likely favor the BJP again.”
He concluded by stating that the populace of Bihar and India seeks stability, development, and robust governance, which only the BJP can provide. “Opportunistic alliances cannot deliver effective governance. Their inherent contradictions will ultimately lead to their downfall,” he added.
