Jaipur, Oct 11 (NationPress) BJP state president Madan Rathore strongly criticized senior Congress figures Ashok Gehlot, Govind Singh Dotasara, and Tikaram Julie, asserting that wherever Ashok Gehlot campaigns, the Congress party experiences significant losses.
During a press briefing, Rathore remarked, “Gehlot campaigned in Gujarat — Congress faced defeat. He went to Maharashtra — Congress lost again. Now, as he heads to Bihar, a loss is inevitable there as well.”
He pointed out that Gehlot’s tendency to criticize his peers has resulted in severe internal divisions within the Congress.
“After marginalizing his ally Sachin Pilot, Gehlot is now at odds with Leader of the Opposition Tika Ram Jully. This clearly indicates that Congress is ensnared in internal strife, factionalism, and a leadership crisis,” Rathore claimed.
Rathore urged Ashok Gehlot to reflect on why his involvement in campaigns correlates with the party's decline instead of misleading the public.
“While Gehlot is preoccupied with power struggles and political maneuvering, the citizens of Rajasthan demand development, law enforcement, and transparency — which only the BJP government is fulfilling,” he stated.
Referring to the Anta Assembly by-election, Rathore noted that since losing that seat, Congress has been more focused on seizing power rather than serving the people.
“The entire Congress leadership is centered around self-interest. Public service has vanished from their agenda,” he added.
Rathore claimed the Congress lacks internal democracy, stating, “Anyone can declare themselves a candidate in Congress, and the party endorses it under duress. It’s a one-man show leading to dictatorship.”
He contrasted this with the BJP's approach, saying, “In the Bharatiya Janata Party, candidates are chosen through surveys, data analysis, and public input. Our core committee makes decisions following extensive discussions and public expectations.”
Rathore emphasized that the BJP government has maintained effective law enforcement in the state.
“Criminals are swiftly punished, women police officers are empowered with resources, and police stations are equipped with advanced technology,” he remarked.
“In contrast, during the previous Congress administration, criminals were released from police stations and even attacked police personnel. The BJP government has implemented transparency, good governance, and a corruption-free administration,” he concluded.
