Jaipur, Nov 5 (NationPress) The BJP chief of Rajasthan, Madan Rathore, has sharply criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's recent comments concerning the Indian Army and the Election Commission. He stated that when a 55-year-old “youth leader” loses his way and makes nonsensical statements, the entire nation suffers due to his irresponsibility.
Rathore accused the Congress party, particularly Rahul Gandhi, of deploying their “anti-national toolkit” close to elections, targeting significant democratic institutions such as the Constitution, Judiciary, Election Commission, and even the Armed Forces. Their main objective, he argued, is to sow confusion, promote chaos, and erode democracy for political advantage.
He labeled Gandhi's accusations against the Election Commission as “false, groundless, and lacking evidence”, urging that any irregularities in the voter list should be substantiated with proof to the poll panel. “Instead, Rahul Gandhi opts to make public allegations to mislead the populace,” remarked the BJP leader.
Rathore further mentioned that the judiciary has repeatedly reprimanded Rahul Gandhi for his unfounded claims.
“He himself has conceded that safeguarding India's democracy is not his responsibility — indicating that his true intention is to undermine it. He collaborates with foreign entities to harm India's democratic institutions. After spending months abroad, he returns only to propagate the divisive ideologies he acquires there,” the BJP chief from Rajasthan observed.
He asserted that Rahul Gandhi’s comments prior to the Bihar elections reflect a sense of frustration over an anticipated loss.
“The Congress and the Grand Alliance are aware that defeat is unavoidable, which is why they resort to fabricated stories about voter lists and foreign meddling,” Rathore claimed.
He accused the former Congress head of continuously disheartening the armed forces, recalling similar statements made during surgical strikes, air strikes, and Operation Sindoor. “He has consistently aimed to demoralize our courageous soldiers,” Rathore stated.
Additionally, he alleged that Rahul Gandhi is employing a British-era “divide and rule” strategy, trying to splinter the nation along caste, religious, and regional lines.
“But he overlooks the fact that the people of India are driven by the spirit of Nation First,” he asserted.
In conclusion, Madan Rathore expressed that the results of the forthcoming Bihar elections will convey a clear message to Rahul Gandhi — that the citizens of India will respond democratically to such “anti-national rhetoric.”
