New Delhi, Nov 16 (NationPress) The BJP criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday for steering his party towards 95 electoral defeats, mocking him with the remark that he is now ‘five short of a century’ of losses accumulated over twenty years.

The BJP also pointed out significant disagreements among Bihar Congress leaders regarding the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha's claims of irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state.

Amit Malviya, who oversees the BJP’s National Information and Technology Department, referenced media articles about Rahul Gandhi's claims of being “unworried” despite the unfavorable outcome in the Bihar Assembly elections, questioning his capability to lead the Congress to triumph.

In a post on X, Malviya stated, “95 Defeats For Rahul Gandhi. While many may label him as a 9-to-5 blame-game politician, Rahul Gandhi has now amassed 95 electoral defeats in two decades, falling short of a century. Is his attack on India's institutions merely a diversion by the privileged scion?”

Highlighting the rising discord within the Bihar Congress regarding the SIR electoral revision, the BJP leader remarked, “Senior Congress figure Shakeel Ahmad has entirely dismissed Rahul Gandhi’s opposition to the SIR, rightly questioning why, if names of 65 lakh voters were allegedly removed, not even 65 individuals protested?”

“He further inquired why not a single member from Congress, RJD, or the Communist parties filed any objections. It is now evident that Rahul Gandhi is campaigning to shield illegal infiltrators — primarily Rohingyas and Bangladeshi Muslims,” declared Malviya.

Shifting focus to West Bengal, Malviya stated, “Mamata Banerjee should heed Shakeel Ahmad's advice and cease opposing the SIR, designed to eliminate absent, permanently relocated, deceased, non-Indian citizens, and underage voters.”

“Mamata Banerjee’s resistance only signifies her desire to retain fraudulent voters and illegal Bangladeshi Muslims and Rohingyas on the rolls because she understands she cannot win without them. Enumeration forms are currently being distributed in West Bengal, and it is widely understood that the TMC is pressuring BLOs to distribute forms to deceased, fictitious, and illegal voters,” said Malviya, also the BJP’s co-incharge for West Bengal.

Advising against undermining the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in West Bengal, the BJP leader cautioned, “Here is a stringent reminder: Those submitting false forms or documents can face up to one year in prison. BLOs who distribute forms to ineligible voters or accept fraudulent submissions are also subject to investigation. Do not jeopardize your life and career for the TMC. Illegal voters should simply depart. Learn from the Mahagathbandhan’s failure in Bihar. Mamata Banerjee will not be able to protect you.”
