Dholakia has amassed 63,522 votes, while Chhuria trails with 20,288 votes.
The Congress candidate, tribal leader Ghasiram Majhi, has garnered 20,103 votes.
In a statement to the press, BJP state president Manmohan Samal remarked, "The desire for change among the citizens of Nuapada is evident, and they are extending their support to the Bharatiya Janata Party. The current trends clearly reflect the sentiment of the people here."
He emphasized that the public's trust in the BJP has grown due to the successful implementation of various commitments made by both the state government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in recent years.
Samal asserted that residents of Nuapada have actively campaigned for the BJP, acting as its star promoters.
He noted that the electorate believes that voting for the BJP will lead to comprehensive development in the region and address its fundamental challenges.
Additionally, the state BJP president criticized the previous administrations of the BJD and Congress for their inaction on pressing issues such as bonded labor, challenges faced by Kendu leaf pluckers, lack of industries, and insufficient tourism development.
Responding to allegations from opposition parties about election fraud and financial inducements, Samal pointed out that the BJP has faced electoral defeats without resorting to such claims.
He urged opposition parties to reflect on the reasons for their "losses" and to report any unlawful activities to the relevant authorities instead of making unfounded public accusations.
