Jaipur, July 21 (NationPress) An alarming bomb threat email sent late Sunday night to the official email address of Maheshwari Girls Public School (MGPS), located in Vidyadhar Nagar, Jaipur, sparked panic and led to a rapid emergency response on Monday morning.
According to police reports, the email, which arrived at 12:25 a.m., contained a disturbing message: “The bomb is in our body. We will be martyred and attain heaven.”
The threat was detected by school officials when they checked their email around 9:15 a.m., prompting them to promptly notify local authorities.
In a decisive response, over 3,500 students were evacuated safely from the premises within a mere thirty minutes. Police teams from various stations, along with a bomb disposal unit and canine squad, quickly arrived on-site to conduct a thorough examination. Fortunately, no suspicious items or explosives were uncovered.
Vidyadhar Nagar SHO Rakesh Khyalia confirmed that the email included a statement indicating that the bomb would be triggered through interaction with the school's RFID system. “The school administration acted decisively, ensuring the safe evacuation of all students. The cyber unit is currently investigating the email's source,” stated SHO Khyalia.
This incident is not isolated; Jaipur has faced similar threats in the past.

Earlier in May, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium received multiple threats on the 8th, 12th, and 13th, with one email demanding justice for a rape victim alongside a threat.
On May 9, Jaipur Metro was also threatened in connection with Operation Sindoor. Once again, police investigations revealed no actual danger.
Authorities are diligently monitoring and investigating these threats, with cyber forensic teams actively working to trace the origins of the emails.
