Hyderabad, Oct 13 (NationPress) The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president, K.T. Rama Rao, along with senior party officials, presented an extensive report to the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana, drawing attention to widespread irregularities, duplicate entries, and fraudulent votes in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency, where by-elections are set for November 11.
In a press conference following the report submission, KTR accused the Congress party of utilizing every available means of manipulation and power misuse to secure victory in the Jubilee Hills seat.
“The Congress is employing all tactics—persuasion, division, and coercion—to sway the election results. Ministers from various regions have converged on Jubilee Hills to exploit governmental machinery and resources,” KTR claimed.
The BRS leaders pointed out that while even ruling party MLAs have communicated with the World Bank and media indicating a lack of funds, the Congress government is suddenly channeling significant resources into Jubilee Hills, thereby misleading the electorate for electoral advantage.
According to KTR, BRS has identified at least 20,000 duplicate and fake votes in the Jubilee Hills constituency so far.
Approximately 50 fake votes are reportedly registered at each polling booth, with the constituency hosting about 400 booths.
“In numerous instances, a single individual possesses two or three voter ID cards. Additionally, the same name is often listed multiple times with slight variations in spelling,” he explained.
“In several households, we discovered 150–200 votes registered at a single address. In one case, a small residence had over 100 votes registered,” KTR noted.
He further charged that the Congress party, in collusion with lower-tier officials, intentionally included thousands of fraudulent voters.
“Around 15,000 voters were registered without legitimate addresses. In one instance, the homeowner himself asserted that none of the 23 registered voters at his address actually reside there,” KTR remarked.
He accused the Congress of attempting to win through voter fraud, comparing it to “Rahul Gandhi’s national-level electoral theft, which is mirrored locally in Jubilee Hills.”
BRS has called for the Election Commission to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the irregularities present in the Jubilee Hills voter list, impose strict penalties on officials who colluded in adding fake votes, and transfer all compromised field officers immediately to guarantee free and fair elections.
KTR stated that despite the removal of around 12,000 invalid votes, an additional 7,000 new fake votes have emerged, resulting in a total manipulation of nearly 19,000 votes.
