Hyderabad, Nov 13 (NationPress) The atmosphere is charged as the counting of votes for the bye-election in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency of Hyderabad is about to commence.
Robust security measures have been implemented at Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Stadium in Yousufguda, where the counting is scheduled to kick off at 8 a.m. on Friday.
Election officials have prepared 42 tables for the counting process, which will unfold over 10 rounds.
The Chief Electoral Officer, C. Sudharshan Reddy, stated that 48.49 percent of registered voters participated in the bye-election.
A total of 1,94,631 votes were cast, with 99,771 men, 94,855 women, and five others taking part. The number of postal ballots amounted to 101.
The constituency is home to 4,01,365 voters, comprising 2,08,561 males, 1,92,779 females, and 25 others.
