Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah engaged with members of civil society, including religious, social, and business leaders in Srinagar.
Omar Abdullah also offered prayers for those, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who lost their lives in the recent events in Iran.
In his meeting with civil society groups, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for peace and communal harmony, urging citizens to express their feelings and concerns in a peaceful manner while fostering brotherhood and unity.
Omar Abdullah highlighted the necessity of maintaining peace and harmony in Jammu & Kashmir while respecting public sentiments, ensuring that expressions of sorrow and mourning are peaceful and responsible.
Educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities in the Valley, will remain closed until March 7.
