Directed by Anees Bazmee, this film has become a significant topic of discussion within Hindi cinema for its gripping suspense. To honor this milestone, Anees Bazmee shared a heartfelt message on his social media, celebrating the film’s legacy.

In his post, he shared the film’s poster and expressed, “23 years of Deewangee, a movie that will forever have a special place in my heart, a film that transformed the suspense-thriller genre during its era. I am thankful for this incredible journey,” while tagging the film's stars in his post. Released on October 25, 2002, Deewangee featured Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, and Urmila Matondkar in leading roles, alongside supporting actors like Seema Biswas, Farida Jalal, Vijendra Ghatge, and Nishigandha Wad.

The plot centers around lawyer Raj Goyal, portrayed by Akshaye Khanna, who defends music composer Tarang Bharadwaj, played by Ajay Devgn, accused of murdering a businessman. As the trial unfolds, Raj discovers shocking revelations about Tarang's dual personality, culminating in an intense courtroom finale.
