Guwahati, Sep 2 (NationPress) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has issued a stern warning to Maulana Mahmood Madani, the president of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, criticizing his "groundless assertions" concerning the ongoing anti-encroachment initiatives.
In response to Madani's earlier statements during a press briefing, CM Sarma questioned Madani's significance outside the Congress framework.
"Is Madani a deity? His influence is tied only to the Congress; without them, he holds no value," the Chief Minister remarked to journalists.
