Bhopal, Feb 9 (NationPress) As the annual board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 students under the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) are set to commence on Tuesday (February 10), Chief Minister Mohan Yadav conducted an engaging session with students at a government institution in Bhopal on Monday.

During the event called ‘Dialogue on Exams – 2026’, CM Yadav encouraged students to stay calm, manage their time effectively, and nurture self-confidence.

He urged students to actively discuss curriculum topics with peers and educators, emphasizing that such dialogues would enhance their exam preparation.

“Students must prioritize sufficient sleep during this crucial period. Establishing a study timetable is essential. It's beneficial to reflect on what they’ve learned after studying a subject,” Yadav remarked.

The Chief Minister also took the opportunity to listen to students' concerns, urging them to adopt a positive approach towards their future.

In response to a query from a student named Lakshmi Tiwari, Yadav recommended that children maintain open lines of communication with their parents about their challenges.

“Today’s youth are the future leaders of our nation. It’s vital for them to continuously enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance,” he added.

The programme, held at the government-run Subhash Excellence School in Bhopal, was also attended by Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh and other senior officials.

According to MPBSE guidelines, students are required to arrive at their designated examination centers by 8 a.m. Entry to the examination hall will be closed 15 minutes after the exam begins, with question papers distributed 5 minutes prior to the start time.

Class 12 board exams will begin on Tuesday (February 10), followed by Class 10 exams starting from February 13.

To maintain fairness and transparency, the MPBSE has implemented strict regulations, including a rule prohibiting students from leaving the examination hall during the first two hours of the exam.
