Mumbai, March 9 (NationPress) Actress Daisy Shah vehemently addressed a social media troll who tried to criticize her after a video surfaced showing the actress preparing iftaari.

It all started when a user shared the video and commented: "Here’s Daisy Shah. She opposes firecrackers but attends Iftaar parties and cooks there too," questioning her beliefs.

In response, Daisy took to X, previously known as Twitter, to refute the comparison and denounce the attempt to incite hatred under the guise of religion.

“Firecrackers and cooking food are entirely distinct activities. Best of luck in your attempt to spread hatred in the name of religion. Wishing you a speedy recovery,” she tweeted.

About Daisy, she initially worked as an assistant to choreographer Ganesh Acharya on films such as Zameen and Khakee, before transitioning to modeling, featuring in various photoshoots and print advertisements.

She caught the attention of Kannada director Harsha, who offered her a role in the film Chingari. Daisy also performed an item number in the Hindi film Khuda Kasam, starring Sunny Deol and Tabu. Her film debut came with the 2011 Kannada production Bhadra.
