New Delhi, Aug 3 (NationPress) In addition to the education bill, Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is anticipated to introduce two Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports during the Monsoon Session of the Delhi Assembly commencing on Monday, as shared by a leader from the ruling BJP.
The Chief Minister may present the Finance Accounts and Appropriation Accounts for the Government of NCT of Delhi for the fiscal year 2023-24, along with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India's report on State Finances for the same year, concluding on March 31, 2024, and the report on the Welfare of Building and other Construction Workers for the year ending March 31, 2023.
The Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees) Bill represents a significant measure by the BJP government aimed at regulating private schools that neglect to follow the education department's mandates against unreasonable fee hikes.
CM Gupta had declared on Saturday, “The education Bill will be discussed in detail in the Assembly.”
The Third Session (Monsoon Session) of the Eighth Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is scheduled from August 4 to 8, as announced by Speaker Vijender Gupta.
However, the session may be prolonged based on legislative necessities.
Each assembly sitting is set to commence at 2 p.m. and will proceed until the day’s business concludes.
This Monsoon Session will mark a significant move towards digital governance as it will be entirely paperless, utilizing the National eVidhan Application (NeVA) platform.
The Speaker has instructed that Members wishing to raise matters under Rule 280 (Special Mention) must exclusively submit their notices via the NeVA Portal (https://cms.neva.gov.in/) by 5 p.m. on the working day preceding the intended date.
A balloting process to determine the order of the first ten notices will occur at 11 a.m. in the Secretary’s Room on the respective day.
In line with the Speaker’s focus on digitization and transparency, all notices, including Questions and Resolutions, must be submitted solely through the NeVA Portal.
A dedicated assistance center is operational at the NeVA Sewa Kendra, where Members or their authorized personnel can obtain technical support for online submissions.
