The investigation has uncovered that some influential local figures allegedly used WhatsApp groups to incite residents to congregate at the location, intending to disrupt civic and law enforcement efforts during the demolition.
A copy of the FIR obtained by IANS details the events leading to the violence, starting around 12:40 a.m. when police began securing the encroached government land prior to demolition. During this, a group of 30 to 35 people assembled, chanting provocative slogans and attempting to thwart police barricades.
