Mumbai, Dec 31 (NationPress) Actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol have shared their heartfelt sentiments after viewing their father, the late Dharmendra’s final film, Ikkis.

In a touching post on their social media, Sunny and Bobby described the film as a ‘treasure brimming with Dharmendra’s essence, bravery, and love’.

Accompanying a poster of Dharmendra from Ikkis, they expressed, “Our Papa, the man of the soil, Ikkis is his tribute – a gift to the earth he cherished and to the fans who have always been by his side. For our family, it is a treasure filled with his spirit, courage, and heart. Today, with love and immense pride, we share it with the world, hoping it lives on the way he does – forever.”

Deeply touched by the film, the Deol brothers conveyed their profound love and admiration for their father.

Previously, Sunny had also used his social media to share his enduring affection for his father, stating, “Love you, Papa. Experience the inspiring story of the youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee, a hero at just 21 who achieved immortality – Second Lt Arun Khetarpal. #Ikkis In cinemas on 1st Jan 2026 #ExperienceCourageOn1Jan.”

In Ikkis, Dharmendra delivers a poignant performance as Arun Khetarpal’s father, showcasing a parent’s pride and anguish. “Ikkis” will serve as Dharmendra’s farewell on the silver screen.

For those unaware, the iconic actor passed away on November 24 at the age of 89 due to age-related issues.

Ikkis features Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, along with Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikander Kher. The film is slated for release on January 1, 2026.
