Bhopal, Nov 21 (NationPress) The atmosphere at Bhopal’s Ravindra Bhavan was filled with joy and laughter on Friday evening as former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar took the stage. With impeccable comic timing, he humorously cautioned the audience: "Bhagwan koi narration ke chakkar mein na pade – there is a huge problem with narration!"

As laughter echoed, he paused dramatically, raised a hand, and flashed his signature grin, clarifying, "Main apni misaal nahi de raha hoon!" This self-deprecating humor—an amusing nod to his tumultuous days in the Rajya Sabha—left the audience in stitches.

The event marked the launch of Hum Aur Yeh Vishwa, an insightful book by senior RSS leader and Sah Sarkaryavah Dr Manmohan Vaidya.

Discussing the book, the former Vice President stated: "This book elucidates the principles of Rashtra Dharma, nyay (justice), and asserts that a revitalized Bharat, grounded in these ideals, is crucial for global peace and harmony. The book embodies the true Hindu spirit—compassionate, inclusive, and dedicated to diverse harmony and societal service, honoring our motherland, Bharat Mata."

He drew applause by noting the book's timely arrival, coinciding with the centenary celebrations of the RSS.

The robust and spirited former Vice President took center stage to unveil the book, praising it with a mix of intellectual depth and his signature humor.

He described it as highly pertinent for today, saying: "Hum Aur Yeh Vishwa is incredibly relevant. Manmohan ji has beautifully presented India’s timeless vision and cultural heritage, encapsulating the sentiment of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in the current global context—truly remarkable."

With a twinkle in his eye, Dhankhar startled the packed hall by declaring: "Today I wish to speak in English."

A wave of amused laughter followed as he explained that the book's profound global message warranted a language everyone could understand.

Then came a playful jab: "Those who refuse to comprehend, committed to distorting everything at any cost—they still won’t grasp my message… because I am intentionally not using their preferred language but English."

The hall erupted in spirited applause, the underlying message lingering delightfully.

Diving deeper, Dhankhar underscored the book’s reflective nature: "This is not just a book for reading; it serves as a platform for profound reflection. It teaches us that India views the world as one family—not as an object for conquest. Unlike the Western perspective, our ethos is based on harmony and synthesis, not on conflict."

He commended Dr Vaidya's lifelong dedication, stating: "Dr Manmohan Vaidya ji, through his role as Sah Sarkaryavah of the RSS, has distilled decades of experience into this book—it's the essence of that experience."

The audience, a mix of intellectuals, RSS supporters, and admirers, was captivated by every word. Yet, the evening's most memorable moment arrived when Dhankhar spoke about the modern fixation on "narration."

The event wasn’t solely Dhankhar’s.

Senior journalist Vishnu Tripathi, Group Editor of Dainik Jagran, provided an authoritative context for "Hum Aur Yeh Vishwa" within India's intellectual tradition.

He remarked that Dr Vaidya's work transcends personal experience, crystallizing India’s civilizational essence.

Tripathi emphasized that the book encourages readers to view India not in isolation but as a beacon for the world, offering harmony where others perceive discord.

His insights added a scholarly depth to the evening, complementing Dhankhar’s humor with thoughtful contemplation.

As Dhankhar prepared to conclude, his tone softened, almost playful.

"I believe I have spoken enough today. Perhaps my throat didn’t fully cooperate… maybe it’s the chill, or perhaps it’s the call of age."

Another wave of warm laughter filled the room. Then, with renewed vigor, he declared: "But one thing is certain — Bharat is transforming. Bharat is awakening. The change on the horizon is inevitable; no one can impede it."

He ended with powerful slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram.
