New Delhi, Feb 1 (NationPress) Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, along with his wife Sudesh Dhankhar, visited the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj where he took a holy dip and praised the administration for the amazing arrangements.
Describing the Mahakumbh as a historic event, the Vice President appreciated the extraordinary gathering of millions of devotees. He commended the administration’s amazing arrangements, deeming them unimaginable.
Vice President Dhankhar acknowledged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the administration for achieving a remarkable feat.

The state administration has banned VIP protocols on ‘Amrit Snan’ days and other significant bathing festivals, following a tragic incident at the Sangam that resulted in 30 fatalities and 60 injuries.
In alignment with CM Yogi's vision, the administration is committed to providing a seamless experience for all pilgrims by enforcing this policy.
No VIP privileges will be permitted on these essential bathing days or the surrounding dates, ensuring that pilgrims can engage in the sacred rituals without encountering inconveniences such as route adjustments or delays due to VIP traffic.
This policy has been communicated well in advance, and the government is determined to maintain strict adherence during the event.
