He is expected to arrive in Prayagraj around 2:15 p.m.

A special aircraft has been arranged for the Vice President’s journey, while a separate flight has been set for the diplomats.
Upon landing, the diplomats will proceed to Sangam from Bamrauli Airport to perform their sacred dip in the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati River.
Vice President Dhankhar expressed his appreciation for the invitation from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating that he looks forward to taking the holy dip in Sangam with his family and reaffirms his commitment to serving the nation with utmost dedication.
He also acknowledged the crucial role Uttar Pradesh has played in India's growth and commended the progress achieved under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's leadership.
Meanwhile, a significant number of devotees arrive each day for the sacred dip during the Maha Kumbh 2025. To ensure the safety of all pilgrims, the Yogi government has implemented stringent measures to prevent disruptions during this period.
The state government has banned VIP protocols on ‘Amrit Snan’ days and other major bathing festivals, following a tragic stampede at the Sangam that resulted in the loss of 30 lives and left 60 injured.
In line with CM Yogi's vision, the administration aims to provide a smooth experience for all pilgrims by enforcing this policy.
No VIP privileges will be permitted on these essential bathing days or surrounding dates, ensuring that pilgrims can partake in the holy rituals without facing any inconveniences such as route alterations or delays caused by VIP travel.
This policy has been communicated well in advance, and the government is dedicated to maintaining strict enforcement throughout the event.
