New Delhi, Feb 26 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is diligently overseeing the preparations for Maha Kumbh 2025 on Wednesday from the control center in Gorakhpur. His efforts aim to facilitate seamless operations as millions of devotees converge at the revered Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj for the concluding holy dip of the Maha Kumbh Mela during Maha Shivratri.

On this auspicious occasion, the Maha Kumbh is experiencing a significant influx of pilgrims participating in the sacred ritual.

The official X account of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s office shared, “Chief Minister Shri @myogiadityanath ji Maharaj is persistently monitoring the arrangements for the holy bathing festival on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri today at Mahakumbh-2025, Prayagraj from the control room based at @GorakhnathMndr.”

Earlier today, CM Yogi extended his warm wishes to the devotees on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.

In a post on X, CM Yogi expressed, “Warmest congratulations to all the esteemed saints, Kalpvasis, and devotees who have come to partake in the sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam today on the holy bathing festival of Mahashivratri, dedicated to the worship of Lord Bholenath in Mahakumbh-2025, Prayagraj! May Lord Shiva, the ruler of the three worlds, and the holy river Mother Ganga bless everyone; this is my prayer. Har Har Mahadev!

On Maha Shivratri, an enormous crowd of devotees gathered at Sangam for the final sacred dip of Maha Kumbh. As of February 26, 2025, over 4 million pilgrims have attended Maha Kumbh 2025. On this significant day alone, more than 25.64 lakh devotees participated in the sacred bath, bringing the total number of pilgrims who have bathed in the holy rivers to an impressive 64.77 crore.

Despite the overwhelming turnout, the Uttar Pradesh government, under the continuous supervision of CM Yogi, has guaranteed that the event proceeds without issues.
