Mumbai, April 18 (NationPress) The creators of the highly anticipated film “Main Vaapas Aaunga” introduced the song ‘Kya Kamaal Hai’ on Saturday, a track that embodies hope during difficult times. Actor Diljit Dosanjh expressed that collaborating with the Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman feels less like work and more like a privilege.

Diljit shared in a statement: “‘Kya Kamaal Hai’ holds a special place in my heart. The song has a raw honesty that encourages listeners to pause and connect emotionally without overthinking. The inaugural track, Kya Kamaal Hai, marks a collaboration between global sensation Diljit and the iconic Rahman.

AR Rahman mentioned that working with Imtiaz and Irshad feels like continuing an eternal dialogue.

“With Diljit, there was a profound sense of reflection stemming from the narrative created by the script. We previously shared creative space on Chamkila, but this time we collaborated more directly in a musical capacity.”

He added that in a film that “explores themes of separation and displacement, the objective was to craft something that delicately lingers with you, particularly during these tumultuous global times.”

Main Vaapas Aaunga unfolds within Imtiaz Ali’s poignant realm of love and longing, featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari Wagh, and Vedang Raina in key roles. The film is produced by Sameer Nair and Deepak Segal of Applause Entertainment along with Mohit Choudhary and Shibasish Sarkar of Window Seat Films, and it is set to hit theaters on June 12.
