In an expression of gratitude, the creator of 'Jab We Met' took to the Stories feature on his official Instagram account to thank the police for their support, stating,

"I left my bag in a shop inside and stepped outside the airport, finding myself in a predicament!! I couldn’t go back!! But @mumbaipolice came to my aid. Mr. Nazim Pathan went above and beyond for me. Thank you, sir! Jao Hind! (sic)"
