Mumbai, May 27 (NationPress) In a disheartening health update, renowned television star Dipika Kakar has received a diagnosis of a liver tumour. Despite facing these health hurdles, she remains optimistic.
In a touching message on her Instagram, Dipika detailed her challenging experience, stating, "As many of you know, the past few weeks have been incredibly tough... I went to the hospital due to pain in my upper stomach... only to discover a tumour the size of a tennis ball in my liver, which has been identified as second stage Malignant (Cancerous)... this has truly been one of the hardest times we've encountered!"
Dipika expressed that with the support of her family and the prayers from everyone, she believes she will overcome this obstacle.
"I am fully positive and determined to confront this and emerge stronger, InshaAllah! With my family by my side... and all the LOVE and PRAYERS from all of you, I know I will get through this too! InshaAllah... Please keep me in your prayers! Much love...Dipika."
Her post included the caption, "Keep Me In Your Prayers", along with a folded hands emoji.
Earlier this month, Dipika's husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, shared her health status on his YouTube channel.
He stated, "Dipika is not doing well. She is experiencing a serious stomach issue. While I was in Chandigarh, she began having severe stomach pain. Initially, we thought it was related to acidity, but when the pain persisted, she consulted our family doctor. He prescribed antibiotics and recommended some blood tests."
"Upon our return, he suggested a CT scan, which revealed that Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver, approximately the size of a tennis ball. It was incredibly shocking for us," he added.
Dipika is set to undergo surgery for her tumour soon.
