Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, February 27 (NationPress) – Actress Dipika Kakar recently updated her fans via her YouTube channel, candidly discussing the emotional and physical toll she endured from "excruciating pain" following her latest surgery aimed at cyst removal.
She expressed feelings of intense anxiety prior to the procedure, admitting that she was in tears and struggled with severe discomfort once she regained consciousness.
"Upon waking, the pain was overwhelming. Initially, the medical team began treatment, but I couldn’t receive pain relief right away. Fortunately, time has allowed for recovery," she recounted.
Dipika shared that her medical team worked diligently to reassure her during this challenging moment.
"I was extremely anxious and teary-eyed. The doctors were incredibly supportive. This time, the procedure was performed in the CT room, a method known as RFA (Radiofrequency Ablation) where they burned the cyst. Since it was small, the procedure went smoothly. We were fortunate to identify it early, which made it manageable, and I was discharged after three days," she elaborated.
She continues to deal with residual pain as part of her healing journey. "There’s still discomfort in different areas, which is expected. As the wound heals, the nature of the pain shifts; it's less intense but still present. Even slight movements can be painful," she added.
Dipika also took a moment to express her heartfelt gratitude to her fans and supporters for their unwavering encouragement and prayers during her recovery.
