Mumbai, March 11 (NationPress) Sneha Shetty Kohli, the director behind hits like Badshah’s Genda Phool, Naagin din gin gin, and Dil ko karaar aaya, shared insights into the making of Ishaan Khatter and Tara Sutaria's latest music video “Pyaar Aata Hain”, filmed in the stunning setting of Pahalgam, Kashmir.
Regarding the song, Shetty Kohli stated: “Featuring two talented actors, Ishaan Khattar and Tara Sutaria, we filmed this track in Pahalgam, Kashmir. A significant portion was also captured in Betaab Valley, known for its role in the film Betaab. We were fortunate to experience perfect weather during our shoot. Initially, during the location scouting, my Director of Photography, Girish Kant, and I attempted to venture up Chandanwadi to discover untouched spots.”
“We made two attempts for the reconnaissance, but were unable to reach the desired location due to steep, icy trails, compounded by heavy snowfall. Our vehicles were struggling on the slick roads, and our toes were freezing as we faced these challenges.”
“Ultimately, on the day of the shoot, the sun was shining, and I decided to trek up with a small crew while taking necessary safety measures and began filming. Thankfully, we were blessed with ideal sunny weather that day.”
She further described the breathtaking visuals, noting that the snow-covered mountains illuminated by magical sunlight made for stunning frames.
“Some projects seem to have a divine touch, and this one certainly did. I also want to highlight that we filmed two remarkably challenging sequences within the song.”
Shetty Kohli expressed her admiration for the final result, stating that the song looks gorgeous on screen.
“The experiences these actors endured truly astonish me. Ishaan was clad in a transparent shirt and had to perform in temperatures reaching minus 10 degrees in Pahalgam. As for Tara, she is a superwoman. She wore a blue chiffon saree, which posed unimaginable difficulties.”
Tara was recovering from a viral fever during the filming.
“I found it challenging to remove my gloves even for a moment, while she had been dealing with a viral illness for two to three weeks and was only semi-recovered when she arrived to shoot. Yet, she performed brilliantly.”
“Once the camera started rolling, that girl exuded magic on screen. Ishaan and Tara’s passion for their craft and their chemistry are truly beautiful.”
This marks the first collaboration between Ishaan Khatter and Tara Sutaria in the music video Pyaar Aata Hai. The track features vocals by Shreya Ghoshal and Rito Riba, produced by Anshul Garg under Play DMF.
