Chennai, April 2 (NationPress) Actress Divya Bharathi, who made her mark in the Tamil film industry with the successful film Bachelor, has stated unequivocally that she is not involved in the family issues of actor and National Award-winning music director G V Prakash.

Annoyed by persistent rumors associating her with the actor's separation from his ex-wife Saindhavi, the actress took to Instagram to clarify her stance.

She expressed, “My name has been pulled into a personal matter that is entirely unrelated to me. I have no ties to G V Prakash’s family problems. To be clear, I would never date an actor, especially not a married one.”

Divya further elaborated, “I had chosen to remain silent, believing that these unfounded rumors didn’t deserve a response. However, this has gone too far.”

She added, “I will not allow my reputation to be damaged by baseless claims. I am a strong, independent woman, and I refuse to be defined by gossip. Let’s work towards creating a positive environment instead of spreading negativity. Please respect my boundaries. This will be my first and final statement on this subject. Thank you.”

It is important to note that G V Prakash and Saindhavi, a prominent singer, announced their separation in 2024.

Both have stated that their decision to part ways was mutual and not influenced by external factors, contrary to online speculation.

In fact, Saindhavi took the initiative to clarify that unjustly damaging someone’s reputation is unacceptable and affirmed that their decision to separate was made jointly for their own well-being.

On March 24 of this year, Saindhavi and G V Prakash filed a petition for mutual divorce.
