Chennai, May 7 (NationPress) Nutritionist Divya Sathyaraj, daughter of renowned Tamil film actor Sathyaraj, firmly stated that any leader who either encourages or chooses to remain silent in the face of threats or violence against women is not worthy of being regarded as a genuine leader.
In response to a frequently asked question on her Instagram about her preference between Ajith and Vijay, Divya expressed, "When asked this, my answer has always been, 'I like Ajith sir.'"
"He is an exceptional actor, and importantly, he holds women in high regard. As a family man, he treats the women in his life with great respect, and his fans emulate his values. Ajith sir's supporters do not engage in disrespectful behavior towards women on social media; they conduct themselves with dignity and class," she added.
Divya continued, "Ajith sir would never support or permit his fans to threaten or disrespect women online. He has quietly assisted many without seeking the spotlight. I hold the belief that any leader who remains silent or promotes threats against women is unfit to be labeled a true leader."
It’s worth noting that Divya Sathyaraj recently aligned herself with the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). Interestingly, just a week prior, she clarified on Instagram that her father, Sathyaraj, is not a politician.
"My best friend Sathya is an actor, and I’m a politician — he’s not a politician, and I’m not an actor. We may have our differences, but we will always look in the same direction," she remarked about her father.
