Adhikari informed the victim's father that he would facilitate transportation for the victim. A video featuring their conversation was shared on Adhikari's official Facebook page.
In the video, Adhikari first checked on the victim's health. The father noted that his daughter was in a more stable condition than previously. The BJP leader recommended that if enhanced medical care is necessary, the victim should be taken to Odisha. The father confirmed his plan to return to Odisha after the victim records her testimony under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
Adhikari mentioned that he would consult with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, other BJP officials, and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to ensure all essential arrangements are made in Odisha.

In reply, the victim's father said, "We have spoken with the Chief Minister of Odisha, but there has been no communication with the Chief Minister of West Bengal."
