Amaravati, April 3 (NationPress) Tragically, eight individuals lost their lives in four distinct road incidents that occurred in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Friday, as reported by local authorities.

In the first incident, one person was killed, and four others sustained injuries when a tourist bus from Gujarat collided with a mini lorry near Dornala in Markapuram district. The bus, carrying 40 passengers and traveling from Rajkot to Srisailam, met with the accident after the driver lost control due to a tyre puncture, crashing into the stationary mini lorry that had broken down.

Emergency services promptly arrived, transporting the injured to a government hospital in Dornala.

In another unfortunate event in Anakapalli district, three youths lost their lives when their motorcycle was struck by a private travel bus at the Pothireddypalem junction. Police reported that this incident occurred in the early hours, as the youths were returning from a local fair in Purushottapuram village. Two of them died at the scene, while the third succumbed to injuries at a hospital in Yelamanchili. The deceased, who were painters by profession, were identified as I. Govindu (25), Bangaru Nani (24), and Bangaru Durgaprasad (16).

In a separate mishap in the NTR district, two individuals were killed, and three others were injured when they were hit by a truck. Reports indicate that five persons were returning from catering work on a motorcycle from Nuzvidu to Tiruvuru. The accident occurred when two of them dismounted on the Lakshmipuram-Nuzvidu highway, and while their bike was stationary, a truck collided with it. Tragically, two died instantly, and the injured were taken to a hospital, where one is reported to be in critical condition. The deceased were identified as Nakka Eshwar (16) and Madugu Sunny (17).

In yet another incident in neighboring Telangana, two individuals were killed, and one more was injured when their vehicle crashed into a stationary lorry along the Karimnagar-Peddapalli Bypass.
