Tragic Road Mishaps Claim Seven Lives Across Telugu States

Hyderabad, Dec 21 (NationPress) A total of seven individuals tragically lost their lives in two separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Saturday.
In the first incident, four people were killed and ten others sustained injuries when a mini-van, carrying them, collided with a stationary truck on the national highway near Bullasamudram in Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh.
Four victims died at the scene, while four others were reported to be critically injured. Police and emergency medical services rushed to the location and transported the injured to a hospital in Madakasira.
Seven of the injured individuals were later moved to Bangalore for further treatment.
The deceased were from Gudibanda in Amrapuram mandal and were returning home after visiting the Sri Venkateshwara Temple at Tirumala.
The mini-van was carrying fourteen family members. The driver reportedly failed to notice the truck parked on the roadside.
The victims were identified as Ratnamma (68), Manoj (32), Prem Kumar (30), and Atarva (4).
According to law enforcement, the accident happened around 5 a.m., with poor visibility due to fog being a suspected contributing factor.
In a separate incident in Nalgonda district of Telangana, three individuals were killed when a DCM truck crashed into a roadside shop.
This incident took place near Pedda Dargah on the outskirts of Devarakonda Town.
Police reported that the DCM driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a sweet shop, resulting in the immediate deaths of three individuals inside.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Khader, Haji, and Nabeena. Authorities transported the bodies to the Government Hospital Devarakonda for autopsy.
All three victims hailed from Yerravaram village in Suryapet district. The incident occurred while they were seated near the dargah.
The police have apprehended the DCM driver and initiated an investigation into the matter.
