Amaravati, May 26 (NationPress) Four individuals lost their lives and another was injured following a tragic collision between a car and a truck in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district on Monday, according to police reports.
The incident took place near the Rajamahendravaram Gammon Bridge, where a car traveling towards Visakhapatnam collided head-on with a truck approaching from the opposite side.
Among the five passengers in the car, three died instantly while two sustained injuries. One of the injured later passed away during treatment at a hospital in Rajamahendravaram.
Currently, the condition of the remaining injured person is reported to be critical.
The force of the collision severely damaged the car, making it difficult for police to retrieve the bodies from the wreckage.
