In an earlier interaction in June, Ambassador Amarilla had praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his guiding philosophy of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' — the Sanskrit precept meaning 'the world is one family.' The Uruguayan envoy described Modi as a global leader whose focus on peace and collective global challenges has earned him wide international respect.

'Prime Minister Modi has promoted the idea of seeing the world as one family. He has consistently focused on addressing global challenges and has maintained a strong commitment to peace. I believe he has already established himself as a global leader, and many people around the world have great hopes that his contributions will help create a better future for all,' Ambassador Amarilla said.

Amarilla also recalled Prime Minister Modi's visits to Brazil and Argentina the previous year, describing them as 'highly significant' and expressing hope that such bilateral engagement would continue to deepen and expand across the region.
