Couple Loses Lives in Hyderabad Due to Reckless Driving

Hyderabad, Dec 1 (NationPress) A tragic incident occurred on November 30 night, wherein a couple lost their lives and four additional individuals were injured due to a reckless driver in Hyderabad.

The couple, riding a motorcycle, died instantly at the scene of the accident that took place in the Langar Houz locality. The victims were identified as Dinesh Goswami (35) and his partner Mona Thakur (34), who resided in Banjara Hills.

The speeding vehicle collided with both an autorickshaw and the motorcycle. Bystanders managed to apprehend the driver of the car and confronted him physically.

Authorities quickly arrived at the location and detained the driver, known as Pawan. They have initiated a case and are actively investigating the matter.

As reported by relatives of Mona, she was expecting a child. The deceased bodies have been transported to Osmania General Hospital for an autopsy. The injured individuals were taken to a local medical facility.

In a separate incident, a five-year-old boy tragically died and three others, including a child, were hurt in a road mishap in Khammam district of Telangana on Sunday. The collision occurred on the Kishtaram-Sattupalli road when a truck struck a motorcycle from behind.

Police reports indicate that Raju, an employee of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), was on his way to Dwarka Tirumala temple for a visit with his family. He had paused at the roadside to converse with his colleague Pradeep when a truck traveling from Khammam to Ashwaraopet collided with them.

Raju's son was killed instantly, while he, his daughter, and Pradeep suffered injuries. The child's name was Yashwant (5). Heart-wrenching scenes unfolded as the boy's mother mourned uncontrollably while cradling her son's body.

The injured were transported to a hospital in Sattupalli. The daughter was later moved to a medical facility in Rajahmundry in the adjacent Andhra Pradesh, where her condition is reported to be critical. Pradeep was taken to a hospital in Khammam.

Authorities have detained the truck driver. A police official stated that a case has been filed and further investigations are underway.
