Telangana: Two Police Officers Fatally Injured in Hit-and-Run Incident

Hyderabad, Dec 8 (NationPress) Two police officers tragically lost their lives in a hit-and-run accident that occurred in Siddipet district of Telangana on Sunday.
The collision took place on the Jaligama bypass road near Gajwel early Sunday morning.
As per police reports, an unknown vehicle struck the officers while they were riding a motorbike.
The deceased have been identified as Parandhamulu (43) and Venkateshwarlu (42). They were en route to participate in a marathon in Hyderabad when the unidentified vehicle collided with their motorbike, resulting in their immediate deaths.
Parandhamulu was stationed at Rayaprolu Police Station, while Venkateshwarlu served at Daulatabad Police Station.
Both officers had previously participated in marathons across Telangana and other states.
Their remains were transported to the Government Hospital in Gajwel for an autopsy. Authorities confirmed that a case has been filed and an investigation is underway. An official stated that efforts are being made to identify the vehicle that struck their motorcycle.
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao expressed condolences regarding the tragic loss of the two officers and assured all possible assistance to their families.
In a separate incident, two individuals were killed near Aswaraopet in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
According to police, a truck collided with a motorcycle, resulting in two fatalities and one injury. The deceased have been named as Manoj (27) and Venkateshwar Rao (58).
The injured individual, Veerabhadraiah, has been admitted to a local hospital and is reported to be in critical condition. Police have apprehended the truck driver and initiated an investigation.
Manoj and Veerabhadraiah, who both hailed from Eluru district in the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh, along with local teacher Venkateshwar Rao, were on their way to a palm oil plantation when the truck, coming from Sattupalli, struck their motorcycle from behind.
In another incident, a man was killed in a hit-and-run on the Outer Ring Road at Medchal on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Police suspect he was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
