Hyderabad, Jan 28 (NationPress) Tragically, three minors lost their lives when the motorbike they were riding collided with a road divider on the Dr Manmohan Singh flyover on Tuesday.

Authorities reported that the incident took place in the early morning on the Bahadurpura-Aramghar flyover, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Attapur Police Station in the Cyberabad Commissionerate.

Two of the young victims perished instantly, while the third succumbed to injuries at Osmania Hospital. The victims were aged between 14 and 15 years, as stated by AIMIM MLA Mohammad Mubeen, who visited the hospital.

The individuals identified as Maaz Qadri, Mohammed Ahmed, and Syed Imran were traveling from Bahadurpura to Aramghar.

According to police reports, overspeeding and triple-riding contributed to this tragic event. The bodies were transported to Osmania Hospital’s mortuary for autopsy, and investigations are ongoing.

This flyover, which connects Bahadurpura near Nehru Zoological Park to Aramghar crossroads, was inaugurated earlier this month and is the second-longest flyover in the city.

In a separate incident on the same day, a 10-year-old girl tragically lost her life after being struck by a truck in the Sheikhpet area. The accident occurred when she was on a motorbike with her father, and they were hit by the truck, leading to her falling under its wheels. The girl died instantly. Gaddam Atharvi, a Class five student at the Delhi School of Excellence in Manikonda, was the victim.

Additionally, in another accident, a Class 10 student died after her scooty was hit by a truck in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district on the outskirts of Hyderabad. This incident occurred as she was returning home from tuition, and she died at the scene. Police indicated that negligence on the part of the truck driver was a factor. A case has been filed at the Medipally police station in the Rachakonda commissionerate, and the driver has been taken into custody for further investigation.
