Farhan Akhtar's ‘120 Bahadur’ Set for Theatrical Release on November 21, 2025

Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) The highly anticipated film ‘120 Bahadur’, featuring Farhan Akhtar in a leading role, is confirmed to hit cinemas on November 21, 2025.

This movie serves as a tribute to Major Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC and the brave soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment. Set during the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-Sino War, it draws inspiration from the historic Battle of Rezang La, an event marked by remarkable valor and sacrifice.

The film's release date was officially announced on Thursday. The talented Farhan Akhtar, known for his versatile portrayals of compelling characters, steps into the shoes of Maj Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC.

‘120 Bahadur’ promises to deliver an exceptional cinematic experience. With stunning visuals and a gripping storyline, the film aspires to honor the steadfast courage of India’s military champions.

Previously, Farhan, who has taken a break from acting, is reigniting his fans' excitement for this upcoming venture. On Saturday, he engaged with his audience on Instagram by sharing behind-the-scenes images from the sets of ‘120 Bahadur’. The photographs feature tents and Buddhist Hanging Prayer Flags against the breathtaking backdrop of the Himalayas.

Heightening the anticipation, Farhan Akhtar also showcased the stunning locations from the film’s base camp in Ladakh. The visuals depict the majestic landscapes of Ladakh, while the second image carousel offers a glimpse inside his tent, revealing the captivating scenery and serene ambiance that has already enchanted many.

He captioned one of the posts, “A quiet base,” perfectly summarizing the tranquil essence of the location.

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, in partnership with Amit Chandrra’s Trigger Happy Studios.
