Mumbai, Sep 8 (NationPress) Renowned actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is gearing up for his much-anticipated return to the big screen as Param Vir Chakra recipient Major Shaitan Singh Bhati in the upcoming war drama "120 Bahadur". This film is inspired by the heroic Battle of Rezang La, where the Indian Army's 13th Kumaon Regiment valiantly confronted the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).
Farhan took to social media to share his enthusiasm about meeting the two remaining heroes from the Battle of Rezang La - Subedar Honorary Captain Ram Chander Yadav and Havildar Nihal Singh.
These brave men were part of the six soldiers who survived a fierce battle, where 120 Indian soldiers stood firm against thousands, declaring with resolute strength: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge! (We will not step back)”.
During the meeting, Farhan also introduced these real-life heroes to the talented actors who will portray them in "120 Bahadur" - Sparsh Walia and Atul Singh.
