A significant assembly of farmer organization leaders and cultivators convened with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, praising the Central government for its decisive measures aimed at safeguarding farmers' interests.

Dharmendra Choudhary, President of the Indian Farmer Chaudhary Charan Singh Organisation, stated that PM Modi has made a resolute declaration in favor of farmers, livestock keepers, and fishermen.

"India will not compromise its interests under any circumstances. We wholeheartedly endorse this visionary and farmer-friendly approach, which will inspire future generations," he declared to the assembly.

Kirpa Singh Natthuwala voiced concerns regarding American pressures on the agreements.

"Had it gone through, farmers would have faced disaster. Yet, the PM and Agriculture Minister made a tough decision in the farmers' favor. This has filled farmers in Punjab and across the country with pride. I urge all citizens, farmers, and traders—regardless of what America claims, we remain unscathed. Congratulations to the Agriculture Minister; the farmers of this nation stand united with you," he expressed.

Virendra Lohan from the Chhattisgarh Youth Progressive Farmers’ Association remarked that the bold decision to prevent American companies from entering our agricultural and dairy sectors is resonating throughout every field, village, and cowshed.

"You have demonstrated that the Indian farmer is not merely a food provider but the very essence of this nation, a spirit that no foreign power can dominate. You have assured us that with the current leadership in Delhi, no force can enslave India's farmers. I also extend my gratitude to Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his actions against counterfeit fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides," he emphasized.

In his remarks, Minister Chouhan noted that the assembly represented a microcosm of India. "I salute you—my farmer brothers—who toil tirelessly to nourish not only India but the entire world. Grain is essential, grain is sacred. The farmer is both the provider and the giver of life.
