Vijayawada, April 19 (NationPress) - The second and concluding group of Haj pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh departed for Saudi Arabia from the Vijayawada International Airport on Sunday.
The second batch was officially sent off by State Minority Welfare Minister N.M.D. Farooq, who extended his heartfelt wishes to the pilgrims, hoping their journey would be filled with success, peace, and happiness.
In total, 177 pilgrims embarked on their journey to Saudi Arabia, following the first batch of 156 pilgrims that departed the previous day.
The pilgrims gathered at the S.M. Convention Centre, which was designated as a Haj camp.
